1. PUBLIC HEARING:

A) ROUTINE ITEMS: (All Rezonings and Conditional Use Permits listed under this section come with a favorable recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission and will be enacted by one motion. 1. Rezone from A-O (agricultural-open space) District to R-1 (single family residential) District: 0.449 acres out of Lot 241, Pride O’ Texas Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas; 5000 North Bentsen Road (rear). 

2. Request of Dagoberto Quintanilla, for a Conditional Use Permit, for one year, for a nightclub at the 0.66 Acres out of Lot 16, Block 3, C.E Hammond Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas; 2203 South 23rd Street.

B) Amending the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McAllen as enacted May 29, 1979.

C) Public Hearing and Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of McAllen at Chapter 138 (“Zoning”), Article Iv (“Conditional Use Permits”), Section 112 (“Approval, Procedure, Responsibility And Appeals.”) and Section 118 (“Requirements Of Conditional Use”) by changing the notice requirement, adding event centers and changing the distance requirement; providing for publication; providing for severability, and ordaining other provisions related to the subject matter hereof. D) Public Hearing and consideration of a variance from Section 6-2 of the Alcoholic Beverage Code, for Severo Peña Canales, at Lot 14, Unit 5, Colonia McAllen, Hidalgo County, Texas; 2823 Colbath Avenue. (TABLED)

E) Public Hearing to consider FY 2018-2022 Consolidated Plan and Strategy and FY 2018-2019 Annual Action Plan for HUD Funding (CDBG/HOME).

2. CONSENT AGENDA: (All matters listed under Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Governing Body and will be enacted by one motion.
