A) ROUTINE ITEMS: (All Rezonings and Conditional Use Permits listed under this section come with a favorable recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission and will be enacted by one motion. 1. Rezone from R-2 (duplex-fourplex residential) District to C-3 (general business) District: Lot 10, Block 45, Hammond’s Addition, Hidalgo County, Texas; 2237 Chicago Avenue.

2. Request of Miguel Silva on behalf of The Limbo Club DBA, for a Conditional Use Permit, for one year, for a bar at Lots 28-31, Continental Trade Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas; 2021 Orchid Avenue.

B) Amending the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McAllen as enacted May 29, 1979.

C) Public Hearing and Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of McAllen at Chapter 138 (“Zoning”), Article Iv (“Conditional Use Permits”), Section 112 (“Approval, Procedure, Responsibility And Appeals.”) and Section 118 (“Requirements Of Conditional Use”) by changing the notice requirement, adding event centers and changing the distance requirement; providing for publication; providing for severability, and ordaining other provisions related to the subject matter hereof. 2. CONSENT AGENDA: (All matters listed under Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Governing Body and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items; however, if discussion is desired, that item(s) will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.)

A) Approval of Minutes of Retreat held April 27th, Workshop and Regular Meeting held May 29, 2018.

B) Consideration and Approval of Change Order No. 2 for the 29th Street Extension from Oxford to State Highway 107.

C) Consideration and Approval of Change Order No. 1 and Final Reconciliation for the North 24th Street at La Vista Avenue Storm Sewer Bypass Project.

D) Award of Purchase of All-Flash Storage Arrays through Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).

E) Resolution authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, under the Fiscal Year 2019 Texas Anti-Gang Grant Program.

3. BIDS/CONTRACTS:

A) Award of Purchase of One (1) 2019 Peterbilt 389 Semi-Tractor for the Drainage Department of Public Works.

C) Providing for an amendment to Ordinance Section 102-233 relating to the regulation of parking of wide vehicles.

A) Providing for the installation of a "No Parking" Zone on Primrose Avenue between North Ware Road and North 34th Street.

B) Consideration and Possible action to repeal Section 82-151 so the Code accurately reflects the City's liability coverage.

D) Providing for an amendment to the City's ethics ordinance to prohibit the acceptance or solicitation of gifts by employees with the exceptions of token gifts and certain meals.

5. VARIANCES:

A) Consideration of a variance request to not require the subdivision process at the north 37.5’ of the 250’ of the east 80’ of the west 180’ of the west ½ of Block 9, Hammond’s Addition Subdivision; 523 North 19th Street.

B) Consideration of a variance request to not require subdivision process at a 0.56 acre tract of land out of Lot Eight (8) of the resubdivision of Lots Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16), Block Two (2) Hammond Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas, 320 N. Bentsen Rd.

C) Consideration of a variance request to allow the installation of four directional signs exceeding the maximum square footage in height, at Tres Lagos Subdivision; 4350 Tres Lagos.

D) Consideration of variance request for construction of public improvements along Sarah Avenue for the limits of proposed Subdivision IDEA South of McAllen.
