1. PUBLIC HEARING:

A) ROUTINE ITEMS: (All Rezonings and Conditional Use Permits listed under this section come with a favorable recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission and will be enacted by one motion. However, if there is opposition at the meeting or a discussion is desired, that item(s) will be removed from the Routine Items section of the agenda and will be considered separately.)

1. Rezone from C-1 (office building) District to C-3 (general business) District:  2.0 acres out of Lot 257, John H. Shary Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas; 5000 Pecan Boulevard.  

2. Request of Nancy Gomez, for a Conditional Use Permit, for a year, for a bar at Lots 1 and 2, Shary Gateway Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas, 4901 Expressway 83, Suite 150.

B) REZONING:

1. Rezone from R-1 (single family residential) District to C-1 (office building) District: a 0.15 acre tract out of Lot 8, Southeast Quarter of Section 8, Hidalgo Canal Company’s Subdivision, Hidalgo County, Texas; 700 South 2nd Street. WITHDRAWN

C) Amending the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McAllen.

D) Public Hearing and Adoption of an Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of McAllen at Chapter 138 (“Zoning”), Articles I and IV (“In General” and “Conditional Use Permits”) by defining Assisted Living Residences and creating a Conditional Use Permit for said Residences; providing for Severability, and ordaining other provisions related to the subject matter hereof. E) Public Hearing and Adoption of an Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of McAllen Chapter 138 (“Zoning”), Article VII (“Off-Street Parking and Loading”), by amending requirements for Retail Home Improvement stores and buildings over 5,000 square feet; adding requirements for Self Storage; providing for publication; providing for severability, and ordaining other provisions related to the subject matter hereof.

B) Consideration and Possible Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Granjeno to allow City of McAllen employees to sweep Granjeno streets prior to the Arbor Day Celebration. 

C) Consideration and Approval to Execute Lease Agreement for Express Business.

D) Consideration and Approval of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between City of McAllen and Hidalgo County for 2019 County Library Services.

E) Consideration and Approval of a variance to the Parkland Dedication Ordinance for fees in lieu of land for the Shary Estates Subdivision.

F) Consideration and Approval of Change Order  No. 1 for the 2nd Street and Bicentennial Trail Improvements Project.
